not justifying anything, just saying what happened some 17 year's ago. i didnt give a fock about the dog i'd of happily shot it but i wasnt gonna dig 14 foot for the pleasure. plus the guy who bought it didnt give a shit. and by the way you wouldnt of punched him take it from me and oh yes i know/knew some of the best dog men in the north east and believe me they'd of done the same.

well i'm here no seriously back in the day around the late 1980's. there were proper dog's and proper dogmen around the north east. still a few about today but not many.

i've seen plenty poor dogs do similar to what you described. But i've also seen a few goods ones do similar and be inches from another tube, which when opened the pushed on and met game.

Doubt a good one would be passed on at 4 unless he was robbed.

To anyone who works ,enters their own terriers ,this is the worst scenario .Seen a few dogs start well but take to digging and baying at feck all to pass the time .Too many short digs causes this IMO.
