does anyone use the frontline drops(not the spray)on there ferrets,ive benn using the spray but its not getting rid of the ticks,if you do which one do you use and how much,cheers.

How are you administering it ?

i use the cat one

and just one drop per ferret

one tube will do 11 ferrets

I cant see why its not working though if your applying it like that , the ticks dont drop off the second you apply it anyway , they just feed up & drop off but what they have injested after the treatment kills the tick

why dont you just invest in £5 to buy a good tick removing tool instead ? me personally, i wouldnt bother with any of that gear....

 

you can get hold of these from any decent pet shop... removes the tiniest of ticks..

go with richie's advice, I cant understand how anyone on seeing a tick, large of small on thier ferret, be happy with spraying it and popping it back into the hutch/court, get those green pullers and get rid of, there and then

I've got a set of those tick pickers, they're worth their weight in gold. I also use frontline spray.
