honerday v max in my cz 452...federal v shock grouped well too

Yep...exactly the same...in my CZ Silhouette HMR 20" Barrel!!

 

Hornady V-Max and Federal V.Shok!

 

Winchester OK too...

Winchester shoot the best in my rifle of all.

 

I've tried Hornady V-Max, Federal V-Shok, Remington Accu-Tips.

 

They are all decent rounds, Remington its disliked the most.

 

Winchester it really has taken to.

guys silly question but what kindov stock do you have on your cz synthetic or wood also any pros cons with the rifle in total ie what you like and dislike sorry for all the questions just trying to do my home work also what range do you zero at and why

not many synthetic cz 17's around yet they have only released the synthetic stock recently so most people wil have a wooden version. i usually zero at 100 yards , my hmr seems to fly pretty flat out to 150 yards then when the energy reduces to much its has a larger drop.

CZ Silhouette HMR 20" Barrel!!

 

One of the new ones with Synthetic stock!

 

Triggers are often an issue with the CZ, but my .22LR Silhouette trigger is great...but when I bought the HMR Silhouette it was terrible, bought the Brooks trigger kit direct...cost me £8.32 delivered.. big improvement!

 

Nothing else not to like about the gun...offers excellent VFM and shoots well!

 

Zeroed for 100 yards because I need a rifle that pushes the range out a bit from the .22LR, the HMR is capable of 3 touching shots at 100 yards and can easily drop a rabbit at 150 yards (as long as it's not too windy)!!
