jjbull 38
its a great feeling when you make pregress isnt it, mine was a great retriever in the house as a pup, bring back nothing outside (sticks balls etc)but retreives fine when hes working, theres never any guarantees when you start taking them out but the work your doing is definatly swinging the odds in your favour, i would try a rabbit covered dummy if you want cant see it hurting the situation. what type of retreiving work are you doing and where are you doing it Edited September 24, 2008 by jjbull Quote Link to post

BULL 100
i spend a minute or two each day in a corridor 3 or 4 throws with a stuffed rabbit skin retrieved to hand every time gentally as a lamb ,if i throw it in the yard or an open space she runs of every time its infuriating,if shes in the living room (which shes not meant to be)i can throw anything at all any shape she will jump of the sofa grab it and jump back up on the sofa (which shes not allowed on)and put it in my hand every time, outside she wont bring it back shes 6.5 months now shes been retriving to hand in the corridor since 5 months.
