a mate asked what is the best lamp for shooting fox's he' after a hand held lamp & as my bag is rabbits with a lurcher i thought i would put the question out to those that know best hope you can help, ATB Pritch

nothing comes anywhere near a lightforce ......... get the blitz 240 you wont regret it........... no other lamp has a beam as tight or throw's as far................ if there is better it must be attached to a poilce helicopter..lol...............................

Definately Lightforce for handheld, I prefer the Striker model myself

lightforce striker good to 600m and compact for the beam it's putting out, the blitz is a bit on the large side for lugging about.....and general lamping from a car or jeep.

thanks, he will be shooting out the roof of his pickup, well the consensus seems to be for lightforce be it a blitz or striker surprised the laser or blaser light never got a mention but i'll pass on your recommendations, Once again thanks for your help ATB Pritch

Got to be the lightforce no contest. you mentioned the blazer light , you might as well buy a zippo(much brighter)

lightforce without doubt best lamps for beam etc, but gotto be worst lamp for connections and wireing etc........nightstalker got lamps out now been around for a year or so i think leads on them are very strong and lamp seems much stronger than lightforce all over, i have read that the nightstalker (the biggest 1) is just as good as a blitz, i thought they were untill i went out for a shine with them both, lightforce blitz pisses all over it, be nice to have a blitz lamp with the nightstalker wireing

I disagree mate, I would rate my nitestalker 180 over the Lightforce Lance and Striker any day of the week.

The Nitestalker is not without fault thou, I do have issues concerning the filter and the lead but they can be sorted.
