Having recently moved up north and having no permission up here i thought id have a drive round local farms and so on and see if i could obtain abit....New wellies,tidy shirt all prim an propper like and i was ready...unfortunately most of them seemd horrified at the thought of it and were shaking their heads before id even finnished talking!how the f**k do people get it?..my mates have permission back home but they got it through family or friends who allready had it,its hard work.looks like ill stick to scrounging days out with other lads.any advice?

i know exactly what you mean mate iv been doing the same and havent yet got one positive reply from people! is blody hard going!

i didt really get chance to say what i was looking for...but itll be mainly terrier work i do lamp aswell though but mostly digging.

farmers get 16,000 a year. and the government have said if they see any hunting lads on land no excuses. didnt see them etc. then this money will be stopped for a year. f*****g wanking governments.

I always find it easier to get ferreting permission then work it from there. A lot of farmers get paranoid about livestock when you mention dogs...so take your time and if you get permission after they see your resonably ok you can ask to do a bit more...good luck!

just a bullx mate...iv got a greyhound coming soon and im planning on a half cross so will be looking for a nice bull stud if anyone can help,i have one lined up but it hasnt seen as much as i would like.cheers.
