I started to write a training manuel for my company recently and it ended up being a book with 30,000 words and 13 chapters. the book was based on vertebrate management for the pest control trying to do away with the chemical answers and using the hands on ways. i sent it to two publishisers that both replied with they liked it but would prefer if i wrote a book on each chapter. what do you hunting guys say on this would you rather have one book covering it all or a book per animal and technique's. the book is now with another publish company and it looks like it is going forward.

yea thats a option but i have give this to folk i'm training to study and have had great results i've taking people from gassing rabbits to longnetting and making their own purse nets. I intend to stop pest control companies taking folk of the street and bring in the answers to all problems like the folk on this forum. if i cant get passed the suits then i will self publish

hi..30,000 words isnt enough mate........double it and then post it back.....

45,000 words and 130 colour pics and they rip your arm off :whistling: and no self publishing isnt the best way to go. let a good publisher do what they do best, and that is publish. self publish and its a case of muggins doing all the reviews, the marketing ect ect.

as regards the one book does all approach they view it as 13 or so subjects in one book that will only touch on each species rather than a book on one that will cover it compleatly. Also to cover each method on each species in one book would make the book huge if it was to be done properly, the re-sale cost of such a book due to the cost of printing would be high and as a sales item off putting to most potential customers.
