got my cometa back

hello guys i put a post on a while ago about ox main springs and got a few replys back. mainly bad ones but as i couldnt get hold of the standard cometa spring i just bought the lightning and still got the ox in the cometa its working well up two nar but............only time will tell. when i went to pick my gun up from the shop he showed me my last ox main spring and it was in three pices lol but any way she is back now lie and kicking heres a pick of my kit should do the trick through this winter all the best to all liam

Ive got an Ox spring in my Vulcan and its nowhere near as bad as what some people have said, recoil is about the same and power has increased a considerable amount. Why the bad reviews? Maybe it depends on what rifle you put them in?

i dont no mate my guns recoil is the same and the power has defo increased i dont mind them me. just other people might not had much luck with them. like me but i will give this one a try aint it.

My dad once put an 'ox maximiser' spring into his hw35e. It ended up breaking a linkage on the cocking mechanism, and cost a packet to fix.

A broken spring is usually a sign of severe dieseling caused by lubricant getting in front of the piston head and igniting under pressure. The Ox spring is ok but a little over engineered and too powerful for many guns, I prefer to use the Titan XS.

i have had to have my stock pinned and a new spring sleve fitted i bought the gun for £160 and with repairs and actual cost its worth about £330 but i dont mind they are worth it with the power.

the bsa as the cometa has gone very powerfull abit like an anti aircraft gun lol
