kreet 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 my greyhound bitch is on day 13 today and thats me got the border dog down to cover her everytime he trys to get over her she goes for him not mawling him but as if saying no or teasing him whats the best thing to do i tryd muzzling her and holding her but he wont go o she isnt fighting or agressive just warning him when he trys is she not ready to stand or is this typical of greyhounds will i just shut them in the kennel over nite and see what happens ? kreet 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 26, 2008 should have thought of that i have him here till sat now the boys away and i said id keep him for letting me use him iv nae idea what im gonna do cum shutting them in time 1 of them will have to be caged in the shed then ill get my mate round in the morning and try to get him in her he is game onto her not bothering about anything else but is taking a telling or he would have been in her while i was holding her everytime she barks he stops till she calms cheers for the advice guys its much apreciated Quote Link to post

kreet 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Author Report Share Posted August 27, 2008 i am keeping 2 a mate is getting 2 another mate is getting one a mate from here is getting one as is the boy who has lent me the collie so thats 7 i dont know if she will even have that many but they will not be for sale they were bread for own use as i have said else where this is my second litter ever the other was my cane corse 4 years ago and it wasnt meant she just stood and they done there bizz as i owned both dogs i didnt even know i wasnt there hence i have no idea what to do the now there are people on here advertise litters regularly so to be fair why is what will come of my pups any diffrent to what will come of theres ? well apart from the way they will be brought up and the fact i already have them all homed ? none of my dogs are ever in anything other than a1 condition and neather will my pups be if she even stands if she doesnt then the dog will go back and ill just go buy a dog i didnt just keep the bitch to have a litter she will stay here whether she has one or not i just thought with the class of the bitch and the class of this collie dog the pups should have been of decent use.
