Broody Hen

Recommended Posts

I put mine in a wire cage: mesh all round with just one solid wall to protect from prevailing wind and something on top to stop the rain getting on her. Preferably put it on grass and move it every day: food and water bowls in there too obviously. The idea is to a) as has already been said, to deprive her of a nest area, and B) to get her body temperature down to non broody status.
