Guest ferretlad
Possibly... part of the reason your Ferret is doing this side t side thing is...every time he see's or hear's you he either knows he is going to be let out or fed and is probably anticipating whats about to happen when he hears your foot steps and gets excited resulting this side t side behaviour. Guest ferretlad
Forgot to mention, the reason your Ferret is rubbing his family jewel's as you say, over every thing is thats his way of scent marking his terriotry, all entire Hobs do this while they are in musk, but this will soon stop as he will be comming out of musk very soon as we head into the winter month's, but he will start to repeat this again in Jan/Feb once he comes back into musk ready for next year's breeding season. If you dont like this behaviour and strong musky smell, there is only one thing you can really do about it, and thats have him castrated and this gets rid of his drive to re-produce and sorts his hormones out.
