gavmac 0
Ive just read through the last Hancock thread on here but got bored 3/4 of the way through it but what I have noticed is that it is all the Hancock supporter that have the theory that you dont need good blood to breed workers . Try telling that to all the men who breed the top horses ,cattle ,sheep ,digging terriers ,racing greyhound ,coursing dogs, pigeons ,chickens that theyve been doing it wrong for years and all this" its what you put into a dog it doesnt matter about the breeding ",if a dog doesnt have it it doesnt matter what time and effort you put into it ,you can get the best out of it but like someone has already said you cant polish a turd. Talk is cheap so the only way I can see to finally put this matter to rest is . I challenge anyone with there Hancock tyke to a wee comp I'm not on about agility or brains just an out an out hunting comp agianst any one of my well breed lurchers . Im not too far away from you undisputed and you seem to be a Hancock supporter so its a good oppertunity for you to prove what his dogs can do . Dont turn this into a slagging match and if someone rises to the challenge and there Hancock dog is victorious I will obviously be the first one to shake there hand . ANYONE UP FOR IT PM ME THE DOG MUST OF CAME FROM HANCOCKS KENNELS Quote Link to post

Guest smashygadge
i think you will find undisputed was saying he likes his dogs and the breeding .not that its a world beater i think you will find its ooty that states he has the top dogs .their is no reason why somone shouldnt stand up for whats done them proud for years.and if you want to be good and come and show your good dogs get your self over to yorkshire id be happy for some of that .as i stated tho my dogs only half hancock but i think you can see where his breeding lies .and if your out to show some hancock boys up .i would be more than happy for it Quote Link to post

ANYONE UP FOR IT PM ME THE DOG MUST OF CAME FROM HANCOCKS KENNELS You speak complete sense. As you say good breeding is a common sense way to at least give yourself a chance of decent working stock. However the Hancock followers/evangelists know better !!!! Of course they do !!! :wallbash: Well said....... Edited August 18, 2008 by Brummy Quote Link to post
