JackReid 35
havent posted since this happened the other week, so I will say what happened. A good few months ago i dropped my gun when walking into a low fallen electric fence i hadnt seen and got shocked like mad a good few times and it landed with all weight of fall and gun on the eye peeice bending it down. The scope was a Hawke Night eye 3-11 (think) x44. Used the gun fine after bending the eye peice back into place but ti always annnoye dme and sometimes would ahve to bend the 2 peice displacement back into its spot. (Only about 0.5 mm). So I went to a new farm with my mate (scratchbat) and were ahving a zero sesh with his mate who just got into the sport and has a nice setup and i went to push the eye peice back up and half the blood scope ripped out . Wasnt impressed and went home leaving them to it. However I did feel slightly satisfiedthat I wouldnt have any doubts about my scope anymore now I would be getting anew one at first light! Bought on some pretty cheap deal a Nikko Sterling mountmaster (cheap and just would tick me over) 3-9 pretty ood optics. But found after a day or two that the eye peice which has the locking ring infront of ti owuld hop of a threa dand you would have to tighten back. So i decided to head back and ended up wanting to order a gold crown and he had one laying about ! Now ive got the Nikko Sterling 4-12 Gold Crown with paralex bit on the end which I now am understanding alot more than I used too. Did a massive zero the other day, its accurate as anything, feelsm like a new gun. Here is the first rabbit victim! Jack Edited August 10, 2008 by JackReid Quote Link to post

Anyone new who comes we always tell em to hock up a rabbit on this certain fence which you would never think was electric and bang it gets them! Hahaha! Good times! Jack Quote Link to post

Coney 3
Had the self and same scope on my Logun and never had a bit of bother with it, I do believe "duck" who sometimes posts on here now owns them and they are on his Falcon and even he gets good results with them!! Quote Link to post
