Guest Merlin Posted February 10, 2006 Report Share Posted February 10, 2006 the only thing you need to wonder is did they get worked? if they didnt then i'd forget about them and look at real working line dogs Im not going to get into an arguement if it degenerates i wont reply but I have 1 of the new lines which contain 50% Plummer lines and I have seen its parents work to an extremely High Standard shes 20 months old and Im more than pleased, she marks and hunts up is becoming a decent lamp dog she will never be an out and out hare killer but i didnt get her for that. She recently took her first red rabbit doubled up. Im happy. Quote Link to post

The hancock dog was a dog called Goose, bred to a Plummer lurcher owned by Lee Warren, I read somewhere on another site that goose was worked by Hancocks daughter wether this is true i dunno, after this they were bred lurcher to lurcher for another 2 generations so difficult to know exact percentages, shes from Legion Kennels Simoman. I saw the parents work and was impressed so i got her and so far Im more than happy, isnt that what counts? Quote Link to post
