DDD 4
Hi Folks, heard on tv yesterday that a certain star has written a new script for a film & it has been produced & due to be out soon. Called......................... The child & the fox Soon we won't be able to shoot the fluffy little gits, foxes that is!!! Keep an eye out for the trailer, it goes along the lines of "I've never seen a fox before, they're do fluffy" Unbeleivable :wallbash:

lurchergrrl 1,441
I've seen the trailer. I'm always torn with this sort of stuff for my kids .... we read stories every night, and when they're about bunnies and such I always point out that if our dogs were there they'd eat the bunnies I tend to stress that it's pretend but they're so young it's hard to know if they understand. You'd think a grown up wouldn't be influenced by films like this but sadly that's not the case. Seems a lot of folks live in a fanatasy world. Someone on another forum recently referred to foxes as "relatively innocent" Bet she wouldn't say that if a fox ate her chickens.

timmmy 0
I want to watch this .. i think im going to join up with the other side Its only money .. only a small minority of people will be infuence by this film for more than an hour. A fim on fox hunting wouldn't sell many coppies or would serve to do more harm than good to the sport. Just the way it goes. The world runs by money, those who have it will continue to run it. f**k them how many people have stopped hunting due to the law? Not many

BlueCoyote 0
i'm late on seeing this thread. but really i dont see a problem here.. and i guess i'll sound like a devils advocate but here goes... notice this kid is looking and listening to the natural world around her. just how many modern kids even know how to cup their hands to their ears to "listen"? they probably wouldnt even know what they were hearing anyway. this girl is seeing the wild as it should be. eat or be eaten. i would see this movie just because of the cinematography...but i wont go OUT to see it lol i'd rather rent it. and the thing about movie trailers is they always show the dramatics and best parts.... and they're never in order! they always make the film out to be better than it really is i doubt they would show a scene in the trailer where the fox runs down and rips the guts out of a cute little bunny. i'm sure they have something like that in there.. dont know. havent seen it yet, and may never see it if its a foreign film but it does mention the fox is hunting when the girl finds it. and surly they acknowledge at some point that foxes do eat meat? also i did find this http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0756648/synopsis the end of the synopsis is too true... those bunny huggers that actually do come into contact with nature often times try to bring it home with them as a pet..... like wolves for example... not far from me there is a domesticated WOLF sanctuary!!! idiots buy wolf pups, trying to raise them like dogs - someone told them they make great guard dogs! - but it turns out to be a wolf and it does wolfy type things, and its not a good guard, or its TOO protective... so they get rid of it. honestly, from what little i have seen of it, this film reminds me of when i was a kid.... but thankfully my grandad had the good sense to teach me that wild animals belong in the wild. and you can still hunt them without losing respect or admiration. anyway thats all from me for now on this topic lol i grew up watching Bambi, Watership Down, Secret of NIMH, Fox and the Hound... but i also grew up watching Where the Red Fern Grows, Old Yeller, Call of the Wild, and White Fang.... i like to think i had a steady diet of fantasy AND reality lol
