LDR 29
LDR this may have been mentioned in a previous post? If there are a number of competitors that are all similar distances from each other, will thier names be drawn from a hat to see who is matched against who? The first heats mate are gonna be matched with people closest to each other, unless you aint bothered about travelling then you can be put in a hat with the north east lot and take your chances???? Some people are being kept apart in the first heats, but they are willing to match against anyone in the first heat mate, so let me know how you feel about the travelling thing and that'll dictate how your match is decided????? LDR 29
Just to clear this up as a few people have asked about it........... If you have named your dog and it gets injured before the competition starts, you can change your dog if you have another one, but once you start thats it, the dog you start with is the dog you have to run the whole time you remain in the comp......... LDR 29
Sounds like a plan lads, is this competition a one off, or is it every season?? If this one goes off without too many probs, it'll be a yearly event, and hopefully get bigger each year............. Quote Link to post

LDR 29
This has been raised by a few people as to whether it should be in the rules......... So i'll explain it as best i can........... If you're running in any heat and your dog looks like its struggling, you'll be given the opportunity from the judge to rest your dog for as long as you need, this will be within the time limit of 3 hours, but this will also allow the other person to have every slip that comes up, should they choose to take it!!!!!!!!!! Obviously the decision is ultimately yours, as you'll know your dogs abilities, so should know when enough is enough............. You'll not be told you cant go on, just advised if it's looking bad.......... Quote Link to post
TOMO 28,326
just thought of another thing MIXI RABBITS personly i think they should count, especialy if they have given you a run, as some times the ones that dont have it bad , run well. but i think we need to be gentlemen about this one, if you see one thats on its last legs, then obviously it WONT COUNT. YOUR THOUGHTS GUYS Quote Link to post
Guest markbrick1
as long as it looks like its got plenty of life in it it should be counted mark Quote Link to post
LDR 29
I think common sense can lead the way on this one......... Quote Link to post
