Guest traceyg
Can you just turn a few eggs for me he said. But how come it escalates to another full blown project. A few eggs turned into a few hundred. pheasant ,partridge,Guinea fowl .So at last they are all nearly out of the incubator and my poor fingers can have a rest . But why cant it end there ?.Just been for a wander up garden and i saw these pheasant pens .... Whatever next when does it all stop we are still on with dog kennels as well Think my six weeks off is going to be another working holiday .so come on how many of you just cant stop the new projects

SportingShooter 0
Whats wrong with keeping busy, nothing like it in my book, obviously a rest is a rest but could you take 6 weeks of doing absolutely nothing but sleeping, and eating? Sounds pretty boring to me. And as for men being the same, I am not the same Regards SS P.S What about all the nagging we put up with then? We complain too but when was the last time a woman took any notice whatsoever

Sounds pretty boring to me. And as for men being the same, I am not the same Regards SS P.S What about all the nagging we put up with then? We complain too but when was the last time a woman took any notice whatsoever i would like my husband to feel the same way. but he has a real excuse for wanting a break. we live nextdoor to my mother who can change her mind in a split second and has thousands of unfinished projects that she seems to think my husband should willingly finish FOR her.. unfinished fence for the goats unfinished land clearing smaller holding pens for each critter and its babies installing the electric fence - she bitches about the goats escaping and she wont install the electric fence she just HAD to have.... then when my husband was trying to put posts in the ground (for her holding pens) she called him over to help put up the swimming pool she never has time to use. AND unfinished house work like ceiling fans (she has an airconditioner for each bedroom but she also wants a ceiling fan in every room. Then she wants this wall knocked down to put a door in, and then she wants that door walled up and a window in its place and then she wants to put a wall and roof and windows around her unfinished back porch(my uncle started that project last summer and has never come back since)... electricity and air conditioning in the shed she never uses because she hasnt got TIME to use it..... on top of that he is the taking away the garbage on weekends, cutting grass, patching OUR leaky roof (which has a hole in it that cant be found - he's patched it five times already.. and every time he fixes one hole another opens up.. i say time for a new roof!) and then i have MY list of projects.... a better shelter for the pig, a couple or rabbit hutches (can be bought already put together, i just need the muscle to move them around) and three dog kennels. thats it. lol the rest i do myself! and FINISH them myself. he has every OTHER weekend off from work and is on call 24/7 as a dishwasher repairman for hotels, restaurants, schools, nursing homes etc. lol i feel kinda bad for him but it WAS his idea to move nextdoor to my mother..... This weekend when he listed all the "projects" and then his own list of projects... gas leak in his truck, needs a new windshield(it leaks) and a proper paint job(rust), plus my car needing work .. he just gets mad and does nothing lol which then results in my mom bitching about all men are the same and they never do anything to be helpful.
