scottishlass 57
Last night went up to my dads and asked if denned if he fancyed coming along to see if he could help with a rabbit problem. We went up with 2 air rifles den also brought his lurcher. The start of the evening went well with den's dog getting a good run on a big rabbit. We had a good mooch around saw a good few rabbits but will have to go back in winter when all the nettles have died down. Just before we left we lifted 2 large doors that used to be on the shed that were replaced and underneath there were loads of bunnys we managed to bag a couple (only really went to look) and what did den shoot a bloody mouse straight in the head sure the pellet came out its arse so are mice fair game  :laugh:den also got a couple of hares on the way home with the air rifle

undisputed 1,664
not allowed to run hares with dogs Isn't there something about shooting them out of season as well...look I aint having a go just saying that with all the rabbits to trim out why take out a couple of Hares no glory in that....just my opinion before this starts any hate mail.... and my mistake cause of course den wouldn't run his dogs on hares it being illegal n'all
Netter 0
You can kill hares all year round, you just cant sell them out of season.
