MRD 3
How pissed off am I? Parked up in a car park some silly old twat reversed in to the side my Range Rover did the front wing and did the front wheel and most of the front mouldings. Best frase ever, " I didn't see you" IT'S A FU*KING 2 TON MOTOR. I'm insured with Lancaster. They delivered a brand new Discovery within 2 hours, I also insure my Defender with them so anyone with a LR get a quote from them. Ive had to drink lots of beer to drown'd my sorrows. Strong Stuff 2,171
Surely not completely written off mate? If it is and you were attached to it, you could possibly buy it back to repair yourself, and pocket a few quid in the process ............. Are you buying OCS? I'll have one too if you are, I'd only sell it mind you and buy a proper Land Rover! What do you drive OCS?
Roz31573 0
Is the Discovery a courtesy car? One thing we have no control over, is the stupidity of other drivers!

Missie 1
I know how you feel MRD, someone drove into my legacy when it was parked outside my house 3 months after I bought it. It wasn't written off but I was bloody pissed off about it! The moron that was driving had only passed her test a few days before and wrote her 106 off.

MRD 3
They've been to collect it today, to be honest i'm not that bothered if they do write it off. The missus loves they Discovery, it's a tdv6. I think there going to write it off because it looks as thou it's bent the wheel in. I'll stick with my Defender. Anyone know if they do write it off how do I get the private plate back?

Strong Stuff 2,171
Anyone know if they do write it off how do I get the private plate back? You'll have to get it before they declare your Rangie a complete loss, some insurance companies will allow you to transfer your plate off the car before they do it, some won't and reckon they work the value of the plate in, if you've still got all the docs then you could do it yourself for £115 on a certificate or £ to another motor. OCS I asked what you drive, not your bird ............. MRD, those TDV6's have come down in price plenty now too since the TDV8 came out, seen them around for under 15K.
