after one of my kits getting eaten last week i moved most of the kits out the cage and left the 2 smallest ones with the mother to try and get them fatter but when i looked lastnight one was dead it hadnt been eaten or anything just laying there stiff so i just moved them all out now for there saftey just incase it because of her. just hope she goes back to the way she was before the kits she was really nice before them now she just evil and wants to rip your fingers off.

Have you considered that it may be your pressence thats making her worse , leave her be if the kits dont make it its going to be for a reason , they invest hell off a lot of time energy into a litter & dont cull them without good reason

I did the opposite, I removed the youngest/smallest kitt for a few days, as it was on deaths door, as was not getting her share of meat, kept her in a cage, giving her fresh rabbit 3 x day, plus kitten milk, put her back in the court yesterday, and she's doing fine, although I still remove her for a hour daily, for her own little feed/milk

Think you need to have a good look at your jill and make sure shes no in pain or anything jills could be on deaths door and still care for there kitts .Unless its her first litter sounds like theres something up with her

have you checked her nips, could she not have mastitis therefore not be producing milk?
