i got hold of a rabbit this morning i put it in the cage they started to eat it but then the mother dragged them all back in the nest.

is it a good idea to put her seperate while they eat?

She'll probably bring some back to the nest for them to eat there. Maybe best to cut the rabbit up to make it easier.
