just wondering what it is.

no idea on that one Im affraid, you could try ringing the vet and asking, but Im sure they would say, bring it in, with £ signs in there minds

what are you using as bedding, maybe the dust in woodshavings?

Pick her up and have a look in her mouth .is it coloured up ?swollen ?? bone stuck in her teeth ?? i'd be looking at all of these before the vet ,them if you cant see anything and she's still wheesing vet job

she's got barley straw from the pet shop for bedding.

and wood shavings for floor, but she's allways had wood shavings.

could it be a hair ball like cats get, because she is shedding fur at the moment.

I have never had a ferret who has had this problem but cats yes & they tend to cough rather than wheeze , if her chest is rattley i would see the vet

I bet those kitts would kill for a bit of rabbit :whistling:

how old do the kits need to be before i can give them rabbit?

from around 3 weeks they will have a go at it

she only seems to make that noise after she drinks water.

if she breaths normally, she doesnt make that noise.

but as she is malting, she does seem to have hair in mouth from when she cleans.

and also her tail has thinned alot.

but she seems very happy though and she's still eating.
