ferret injury to eye due to rabbit kick

i posted this pic back in the winter , the hob got an unlucky kick in the face and damaged its eye , the whole eye went jet black and i thought he had lost vision in that one eye .

 

after all these months his eye has only just gone back to normal .

 

whats the worst working injury your fert has picked up in the field ?

None this year. They had a few kicks and paw prints where the rabbit went over the ferret, but no injuries. You`re ferret had a lucky escape, could have damaged the eye ball.

none like yours had just the odd scratch ,you have one lucky ferret

Had a ferret lose it's eye to a rat once.Never used them on Rat ever since.

cant say i have ever gone out of my way to do rats but must admit that would be my only concern

Just a few scrathes but once a fox made a mess of one of my jills and she died two days later

ticks have been my jills worst and even tho's were off on the same day.

never really had scrathches or any other injuries!
