Just wondering how long it roughly takes to set a 100yard long net on a clear field, and what is the recommended distance between each pole?

I got one today and im just trying to master how to set it, and im finding it hard.

I would be grateful for help on this.

for a 100 yrd long net you should set the poles about 5 yrds apart iw 20 poles per 100 yrd drop and the more you practice the quicker you will get !

yeah, always practice during the day untill you get it right and its a good idea to go to yer dop the day before and clear any snags ie twigs branches ects that could tangle the net. you'll know about the wind and stuff ???

Like Ricky said mate just keep at it mate and when its going good and becoming easyier try it with your eyes closed .D.

Park's the best place to practice as the grass is nice and short till you get the hang of it mate

just get out and try it at night, thats the best way to see how much learning you need to do. It sounds harsh but in my opinion thats the only way to learn, treat it as on the job training.
