victor 10 Posted May 22, 2008 Author Report Share Posted May 22, 2008 I use a clulite 1 million candle power and find that most of the time it does the job brilliantly but on slightly clearer nights it can be a bit too bright I've always found the opposite frost.The darker the night the brighter the beam appears and the lighter the night the beam seems dimmer. If you think the beam is too bright get a red filter for it,I've got one on my lazerlight all the time. i agree with that^ the reason im getting a new is my old lamp ( the massave one, if you saw my post about lamping ) only last 1 and a half hours now. Agreed to a point chartpolski,but the lamp has a say in how long the battery lasts,or should I say the size of the bulb in the lamp.The bigger the wattage of the bulb the quicker it will drain the battery.
