Weeping eye

One of my little stinkers has one weeping eye and has had it for some time now. Does not seem to cause her any distress and is not gooey just watery all the time. Does anyone have any bright ideas before I take her to the vet who probably won't help whilest relieving me of £30! Any ideas apreciated

one off my hobs has a brown patch under his eye from where its weeped, he is absolutly fine in himself though, dunno what it is though

Could be anything from a blocked tear duct etc but as you saying its causing the ferret no problems save your cash unless your ferret shows sign's of discomfort

you can get fucithalmic at the chemist i think, its eye gel, they sell it over the counter, i am 99% sure its the same as the vet will give you and brilliant stuff, its about £4, just call a vet and ask them to remind you of the dose and confirm the strength hope this helps

Thanks all for your help shall try fucythalmic see how it goes. I think they gave me that stuff after I got a bit metal in my eye!
