dogger 100 Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 my jrt bitch has a big rip in each ear and is quite rough round the edges i dont know if working cover has made it worse it doesnt seem to bother the dog just wondering what i could put on it to try and heal it up ive tried camrosa cream but this seems to keep it too moist also its like axle grease if it goes on your trousers any advise welcome cheers neil Quote Link to post

skycat 6,174 Posted April 29, 2008 Report Share Posted April 29, 2008 All mine have ripped and mangled ears from doing cover day in day out: I just put Savlon on them to soothe and help heal. Someone did reccomend putting Vaseline on the inside of the ear flaps to help them better slide past thorns: must admit I keep forgetting to try it. Anything's worth trying. Keep badly ripped ears out of cover until they've healed. Quote Link to post
