Ricky-N.p.p 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Report Share Posted April 20, 2008 hello folks, i have a rat job to do at a game farm and normally i just use my ferrets but all my jills are in season and i'm worried about them picking up an infection due to there vulva's being swollen, has anyone any experiance of this ?? olliedakennard 0 Posted April 20, 2008 Report Share Posted April 20, 2008 Alright buddy i wouldnt risk losing a ferret for a few rats i used my hob for rats its great fun just wait a few weeks till youre jills have been bred or taken out of season and they will be right on em but if you are breeding them i wouldnt use them else there stress tolerance will get less and may cause loss of kits through mother eatingthem. It was a great morning out too bolting rats to the terriers. Theres a few less to worry about on the farm now. Got to do my mates paddocks next where he keeps his chickens and ducks.
