A young rabbit is a fine sized meal for a jill with small kitts ,till the kitts get to 4/5 weeks weeks of age and can polish off a full grown rabbit or two in a day

a friend of mine handled his the same day they were born.... but i wont risk it

will i need meat straight away, or after a 2 or 3 weeks...

please any other advice...

also i should blok up the whole then what does everyone think.. i think i will,

my old jill is a legend in her own right, amazing pet and worker very fussy she was, would only drink from my large green mug and lived in my drawers but she always used the litter tray, as for working she may not have bolted the most but she was just a joy to be around, when she had kits at half 3 in the morning in her favourite draw (i made sure that my stuff had been evacuated from the drawer beforehand) she allowed me to handle them straight away, i wouldnt of but she actually pulled my finger in with her mouth so i think she mistook me for a kit, she only ever had small litters too, 3 being average, all the kits had strong personalities and none ever bit me. it was the best bloodline ive ever had but unfortuantely after giving many away and moving around i lost all but 2 who were in the hands of my partner at the time, unfortunately she managed to lose both one night and i lost the line altogether! but hopefully i shall be getting more ferrets soon and look forward to having their curious faces around again!
