if he isnt up to the job mark i will do it for £500 a week with a cottage to live in .... if i was paying i would want enough runs on the lamp untill i decided my dog was fecked ... and if i was ferreting you have got to provide 50+ rabbits in a day to make it worth paying for ........

ok i can provide enough runs for the average dog till its fecked ask rob and joe both on here ferretin i would say 50 bolted rabbits in a day is possible and there the numbers i would excpect,now to youre £500 and a cottage but youre welcome to check the land out and give a view on it,mark

Alright Mark, you would have to build some kennels at your gaffs and you would have to be carefull with who you rented them to as there is some complete arses out there in the hunting world with no respect for others property and other peoples feelings.

Good idea though if you could work out how to do it and a price.

i got a stable block for the dogs and wood burners in every room,but i would keep it to single people are familys at 1st until i knew them better,mark

 

it wouldnt work with single people mate ... most people have hunting buddies and they would want a lads weekend away huinting together ... at the end of the day people that pay good money for a weekends hunting are not the sort that are going to wreck your place ... and if you are still worried then you charge a deposit that they get back at the end of the weekend providing there are no dramas ........

no thoughts are welcome,just when it comes to runing dogs i wouldnt want more then 2 in a night to please and i would want people to always go away happy as every one who has hunted with me i hope i have made them happy mark

i agree with you there mark 2 people out lamping plus you is plenty .... the other thing the deposit could cover is if lets say some peoples dogs are not as stock brocken as they make out ... the other thing you will have to combat in some way is the small minority of people that will sneak back to the land after their visit to poach ...... as for looking over the land i may just take you up on that offer ........

well youre welcome,i dont think people will sneak on the farms down here average farm 100 acre i always let them know iam on and a lot is corn and wheat not many sheep,but i will make it clear any dog that worrys life stock will not be tolerated,mark

both cottages are 2 bedrooms,how much i relly dont know but i think it has a good responce and think it is a very good idea,i have today sited 3 8 berth statics in a 4 acre paddock as well,no plannin permision yet but feck them,ideal for holidays,mak esp hunting ones

well if i could get £300 for a weekend it would be a go saturday day,sat night and sunday day 2 nights accomadation i would be well pleased with that,so it would be 2 nights now what would you call a good weekend

can say got enough land to run the average dog (my whippet/greyhound) and (deerhound/greyhound)

mark i would expect to hunt and fish and as for catching big numbers well what a load of eejits as long as you get a good few 50 plus over the weekend a few roe ,a bit fishing , its fech all to do with catching big numbers im afraid done it wore the tea shirt as long as you enjoy the scenery catch the dinners and enjoy the crack , im in a simliar posistion my self mark hope it goes well for you and you get some decent lads or lasses , i was going to start one in usa but well, thtas another story cheers
