Rabbithunter 456
im looking for a new lamp for next season, and since i cant find a coleman 800,000CP anywhere, i am looking at the nite stalker range my main concern is can you purchase colored filters for them? i know you can get red, but i like the amber & green whats the beam like on these things? is it as good as the blitz? Night Hunter 109
i heard the same as poacher i just ordered a new lightforce striker variable it has a dimmer on it so you have more control over the output and you can also adjust the beam from flood to spot loads of different colour lenses available too, quite expensive for a lamp though £120 LightForce Filters Red Filter Most popular for foxing and lamping rabbits. Amber Filter Also good for foxing, excellent in foggy conditions. Green Filter Specially for spotting animals with sensitive eyes. Blue Filter For highlighting contrast in snow, rain & foggy conditions. Infra-Red Filter Ideal for use with night vision devices Edited April 13, 2008 by Night Hunter Quote Link to post

maty j 6
i use the 180 nite stalker and find it good. nice tight spot on it but yes it does give a bit of glare off and the tight spot comes with that massive reflector. dont think you can get the range of filters though, or you couldnt last time i checked. young1982 1
When I was looking into getting a lamp a few months back I was only looking at getting a lightforce lamp for no reason other than I knew they were a big name in lamps. When I had the cash I went to Litts in Newport to sort myself out with a lamp and after talking to one of the boys there he recommended that I go for a nite stalker as they have a better build quality that lightforce and have less to go wrong. In the end I went for the nite stalker 180 and it was worth every penny . There was a issue with glare but it’s nothing that 3 coats of black spray paint won’t solve, the only other thing is that the filter is a bit awkward to get on and off in the field and does make a bit of noise doing so. Giving time I might come up with a solution to this problem till then the red filter stay’s on when out and about. Below is some pics of what i've done. Quote Link to post
