woodga 170 Posted April 13, 2008 Report Share Posted April 13, 2008 WELL I WAS ITCHING TO SET A FEW MORE FENCE WIRES OUT ON SOME FENCES UP AT ONE OF MY FARMS NOW PEOPLE SAY YOU NEED TO HAVE YOUR SNARES BURIED IN DUNG FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO DARKEN THEM TOTAL CRAP :nonono: THESE SNARES WERE SPUN UP TODAY NEW BRIGHT WIRE AND WERE CATCHING RABBITS WITHIN TWENTY MINUTES OF BEING SET A DULLER SNARE IS LESS EYE CATCHING TO PASSERS BY BUT DOES NOT AFFECT THE CATCH OF RABBITS IN THEM AS THESE PICS SHOW, HERE I AM SETTING NEW WIRES OUT ON THE FENCES, MY MATE HAD AGO AS WELL WE SET A FEW HOOP SNARES OUT AND HE CAUGHT A RABBIT STRAIGHT OFF ANOTHER MYTH LAID TO REST we lifted the wires yesterdaywe have had two days of heavy rain up here keeping the rabbits in but we got a few this pic shows how abadger eats rabbits from the back end upwards some of the catch GOOD HUNTING ALL WOODGA Quote Link to post
