How can i excercise until she is ready for the field? Sorry but i have a very vivid mental image of you on a push bike & the teeny kit running along side you well get her a playmate at the same time & they will excersize themselves rolling round the floor wrestling & chasing each other Quote Link to post

dytkos 18,067
or get a ferret harness and walk them No critiscism meant but Kay's suggestion is better. Ferrets are social creatures and they develop better in company. It's as easy to keep 2 ferrets as 1 (providing they have the room, etc) and twice the fun. Enjoy. Cheers, D. Quote Link to post
anton 0
Kay is right, also consider a run outside with loads to keep em active pipes, pots, old shoes etc and also plenty of handling. I often sit in the run ferret court with em for about an hour chills me out after work and gives em something different to run over and investigate. helps with bonding to the animal as well. I found over the years that putting a collar on with a cat lead and "take em for a walk" helps fitness also has the side affect of getting them used to a collar for the season cheers anton Quote Link to post
