J Darcy 5,871
Just been browsing about and a reasonabley accurate way of telling the difference is...dark leg's (chiff chaff) and pinkish leg's (willow warbler).. ..Millet I bet its not "that" accurate. Many things can alter leg colour imho and also first season young birds often have lighter legs than their older relatives. they darken with age. that said...my guess is willow
Dawn B 212
Dawn where abouts did you spot him?Forest, garden, riverbank? TUFFTY It was at the edge of a pool. Local nature reserve. Ok you could be right or wrong.. .. but if you want to go that far into it.. a sure fire way to determine the breed of bird is the amount of primeries on the wing's one has 6 one does not... failing that you could alway's shoot the fecker Dawn and get it DNA tested.. ..Millet
