Interesting Dog Found in Thailand

Came across this by chance, Here. Just struck me as an interesting looking animal. Hints of old fashioned Bull Terrier (Hinks type of thing) and Dingo ~ as in, my own " Dingo Dog ".

Now, Dingo Dog is said to possibly contain Rhodesian Ridgeback. Is there not, just by coincidence, a Taiwanese form of Ridgeback? Great jumpers, as I recall.

Or am I just f*cked up in the head and this is simply a rather attractive little mongrel?

Who cares. I like it.

Wiki Says:

Thai Ridgebacks have muscular thighs and a streamlined body, making them extremely agile. The sickle tail is carried upward. Its forehead wrinkles with enormous expression. The tongue can be black or have black marks. Eyes are dark and almond-shaped. The ears are set low and point slightly outward, and have never been cropped. The back is straight and level. The coat is short, hard, and straight and must be solid colors of blue, black, red/fawn, or beige for show ring. However, brindle and white are also found. For international show and competition, shoulder height should be 22-24 inches (56-61 cm) in males and 20-22 inches (51-56 cm) in females. The weight should be 51-75 pounds in both genders.

Nothing like a Thai Ridgeback, half the size for a start! Its just a brown mongrel.

looks about 20" as stipulated by the breed, its the right size.

:shok: NO Dissention, Tomo! Dawn B has Spoken! :notworthy:

DS I sremember seeing photos my father in law took while working in the middle east and that was nearly the same ,he had worked all over the world and he reckoned when dogs are left to breed semi wild then this is the type the domestic dog reverts too.I don t know ,but he knew a fair bit about dogs and from what i ve seen myself i reckon he may not be far from the truth

Dont be so patronising, it doesnt suit! If you LOOK at the photo, the dog is half as high as the bench (where you would sit) he is standing by, thats HALF as high!

Why is it some people HAVE to have some sort of handle on every dog? Why cant it be a mongrel? I had 2 of them, wonderful dogs, and that one in the pic looks like the next brown mongrel to me.
