ginger dave 63
Anyone got any ideas about improving the design of ferrret boxes, I put one on the site with a compartment on the back for holding your long net poles, lets see if we can do something if possible to redesign ferret boxes, instead of the curved back , triples, etc. regards DAVE. The one 8,577
Why do you want to go sticking bits on a ferret box ??? keep it simple a nice bowback so it sits on your hip and dont bounce about knocking into the loads of other gear you ggot to carry about with you Quote Link to post

whin 463
im a good carpenter and built all sorts of things boats housesetc built some good boxes for ferrets but all in all its a ferret box ,bow backed etc or round like in gran canaria they use a type of cactus leti t dry get all the middle out of it make ends on it and its a ferret box very clever . saw all sorts of injunuity and well when times were tite all sorts of ferret boxes sacks etc cheers Quote Link to post
olliedakennard 0
I think its a good idea, the box would not bang into stuff because it will all be in the box . Next year we are taking a horse and cart because my mate that i take out ferreting has a stong ponie and a nice cart for carrying all the gear and me and the terrier. Cant wait! Instead of walking 5 miles sit and enjoy the view whilst the horse does the work. all the best ok Quote Link to post
