kiwi 4
hi mate i have a dogtra two collar set very good quality and waterproof. you get what you pay for in collars and it may be cheaper to join a club that has one for members to use. you need a collar that will go down to a very fine setting and most cheap collars are junk that have very little control to suit the different dogs.....if you could borrow one it would be even better as chances are you may only use it a few times and they make expensive ornaments.......i know mine do for stock training i think they are awesome. ignore the posts regarding why you need one, i'm sure you would have asked yourself that question already. 1 Quote Link to post
IanB 0
As kiwi stated if you want a good one get a dogtra or tritronics Quote Link to post

ewana1975 2
Thank you for all your coments , maybe i should have stated why i feel i need a collar . This may sound daft but we moved house about 3 months ago and my wifes dog was ok in the kennel , now for some strange reason hes up about at around 5.30 in the morning and keeps barking . He has always been fed at the same time morning and night , gets walked regular twice a day . I have tryed shouting at him , ive tryed chucking pints of water at him , other than that im a bit lost so all help would be appreciated . Many thanks a very tired Ewan Quote Link to post
Simoman 110
Its not a remote training collar you need then, its a bark inhibitor. Look at the dogtra models, you can pick one up for £50 or so. Don't get a citronella collar, people assume they are more humane thant the electric, whats more humane, a quick correction or citronella sprayed up your primary sense? Quote Link to post
