Woke up at one today lol and somehow felt like doing a last bit of ferreting to finnish the season. Got out the house by two,, headed up to the gorse'y highland of the valley and got settled in a nice little woodland.. I packed 24 nets and only reaslised when i arived at the warrens that most of the warrens had a few hundred holes :icon_redface: So we did two and Got two,, Long story Bolted more rabbits than we could see and of course did not have enough nets for a full swing session :wallbash: ,, afterall im glad a few got away for next year. First warren a big rabbit bolted out of an unetted hole and backnetted itself in another,, follwed by mu pup that held it there :clapper: Moments after rabbiuts where bolting left right and centre.,,,But from unetted holes  And i did not slip my pup as he yaps in cover and stands no chance on hilly woodland,, However a nice little junior bunny bolted and i let him have that and he nailed it,, A bit of confedence for my old Pup,, Then it got all wrong,, a rabbit bolted,, through the gorse in the wood and he was coursing it openining up fustradly :wallbash: And ran flat out in to a tree,, Fell over and carried on running a rabbit through the wood and up onto the hillside,,, DETERMINATION 100%,,but came back limping. So while i netted up the second warren he was tied to a tree,, this pup will not be seing any ther work untill next season,, only easy catches through the summer.

Anyway second warren,, three rabbits bolted at we where netting up,, before the ferrets where even entered :icon_eek: No wonder i was half way through digging and there was a squirrel that the ferrets where dragging around underground,, And they left it somewhere so i could not dig it,, So all in all we headed home,, and i can defenetly say,, i will be back to this spot early next season to account the others.
