dont know much about the camera however one piece of advice i was given when look to get a digital last year was that unless you intend to enlarge your photos to poster size 5meg is as good as you need! dont know how true this is, but I tend to be happy enough with what my camera gives. Personally i think the length of time the camera takes to capture photo is very important - I have just got my new mobile with camera on but dont think i will be using it much - delay between pressing button and picture being taken is almost a 2 seconds, doesnt sound long, but cant capture the looks that I want. Getting MT to smile is hard enough but for 2 seconds :wallbash: ! Dont know if there is any details with cameras about response time, but might be worth checking out?

thats the only problem with compact digitals the lens is ok the pixel count is great but if you want the action shots you have got to go for a digital slr . i can take 3 shots in two seconds .

I'm on the lookout for an SLR Kay, I bought my compact about a year ago to replace the one I had but its just no good for action shots. Even if the dogs are just trotting around its not great, it misses bits of them.
