shotup 9 Posted March 2, 2008 Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 i dont think you need to carry it but if the law stops you they will take your gun of you till you produce the cert and the shooting ground should not sell you cartridges unless you produce current cert.your allright if your with someone who got their cert with them.i find that its easier to have your cert with you when out with gun just in case your stopped by the law. dytkos 17,953 Posted March 2, 2008 Report Share Posted March 2, 2008 I carry a laminated colour photocopy of my licence in my gunslip. It has the word "COPY" written accross it in bold felt pen. Although not strictly legal, a friend's police officer partner said that if stopped whilst out with the gun, it would suffice, initially to prove legitamacy.
