Moochersways 622
Another nice day on the roadside hedge just mopping up what's left, they didn't want to bolt today but we managed 16 and a total of 110 off this hedge this season so a happy farmer bagged a bit more permission from a passing landowner as well so a productive day all round 11 Quote Link to post

Arry 26,409
Well done Moochers. If we had caught 16 I would be more f****d than I am now. I'm proper knackered after today. Picked up permissions ourselves when doing road hedges. Somebody nearly always stops and have a chat with the guy in the road. I ask my mate he's got that Links on again after they have gone Lol. Cheers Arry 1 Quote Link to post

Cheers Arry I know how you feel mate I was feeling it a bit.....it's not easy work with all the gear and digging amongst the hedge normally have the police out to us on this road get reported as hare coursers yeah this is a good spot as its the main road in or out of the village so a lot of farmers driving up and down they always stop for a chat and ask how we getting on this farmer lost a lot of barley to these rabbits so he's happy with the result......got to try and get a couple days on the other side of the road before the seasons out as it's just as bad Quote Link to post

Thought here we go but no cars turned up. Surprising how much rabbits eat. Think I have been told six rabbits eat as much as a sheep. I took 156 rabbits of a very small farm one year and he reckoned he doubled the hay harvest the following autumn. Cheers Arry 2 Quote Link to post
