Yep that's heart attack temps, you can acclimatise but it's a thin line between pain and comfort , comfort being hyperthermic. Rule of thumb is if it feels comfortable time to get out , tbh my varicose veins hurt bad in cold water. I protect my digits with neoprene and if it was just a plunge then there's probably less enjoyment other than escaping the frozen murderous water lol.
