philpot 5,139
It's using very small batteries, similar to what I use in my bite alarms so a supply of those and a charger will be needed I think. Quote Link to post
philpot 5,139 Posted Sunday at 14:53 Report Share Posted Sunday at 14:53 Did you buy the screen type of NV you posted a few months ago and if so what did you think of it as my pal is looking for a screen types of NV to shoot some rats in his garden. Quote Link to post
big napper 3,661 Posted Sunday at 20:03 Author Report Share Posted Sunday at 20:03 Yes i got it phil, theyr great, used it a few times on rats and rabbits, nice and clear on the screen, Only reason i am looking at this other one is that its got a built in range finder, Im not great at judging distance at night, But yes the one iv got is great, if it had built in rangefinder i wouldnt be looking for any other nv 1 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,139 Posted Tuesday at 13:52 Report Share Posted Tuesday at 13:52 I have just bought the Zulus HD 5-20x from my buddy as he has upgraded to the one with a range finder and balistic calculator built in. Just spent a couple of hours today learning the one shot method of zeroing which I will do tomorrow also finding my way around the menu looking at the different functions and I must say it is quite straight forward although I think once I have stopped 'playing' with it, I think I will forget a lot but there again I am not bothered about much of the functions. On this model, I have six zero setting for different distances which will be more than enough for my shooting. The proof is in the pudding...... philpot 5,139
I have been playing around with the Zulus and while I am not very good with new technology, I really like this, very easy to use. I will give myself a little more time then I will do a review. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
