Afternoon out

Ground still being hard took of up the hill yesterday good five miles under the belt nice rough ground ran two first run done the dog in the rushes and lost him second had good five minutes before loosing it again the the rushes good to be out little cocker patterdale still going strong 12 in febuary hasn’t slowed down let and bouncing to get back out today.

picked up first injury split head open unsure how but some would powder and silver spray be grand

Clever hares use those reed beds well can make a dog look silly at times mate was on similar ground today aswell You had a better day than me first run and the bitch near enough broke her neck ran into a big boulder hare jinked at the last minute some noise is made sounded like a metal trough thought she was a goner. 
 

winters here now though hares will start shifting good frost this morning and that rain today was like ice.

It’s does pal and best thing is middle of the day the roe are in the big forestry blocks or in the big gulleys because this things like a beagle on them nose to the ground and gone spoil a good walk

She’s bloody lucky that’s a nasty rock to be sat in a field! 
 

had first frost this morning and been damp all night hopefully keeps up over the weekend got a bit to try tomorrow holds wet at the bottom end before anywhere else local 

how’s the pup will you be happy to give it a run doubled up end of season or day on the whites?

was miles away from the car thought It was gonna be an over the shoulder job, she will be sore tomorrow … karma for winding Mc up about his dogs lol 

 

been heavy rain up this way the good ground should be good for running now. 
 

she’s coming on well , aye mate she will 10 month in February hold her off until then and give her a shot on the whites.
