Moocher71 4,201
I've got a hw57 "177"under leaver in nearly perfect condition, The gun as had very little use and comes with a camo gun bag ,sights ,and a full tin of 177 slugs , I have only put one pellet through this rifle in last 18 months of owning it . They is one very small chip on the stock where the under leaver comes back to cock "I've seen many under leavers with this kind of damage over the years so it must be common ,but the chip is tiny and apart from that its like new . How much are they going for ? I'm having problems posting photos from my phone so I'll get my wife to put some up later , This would be ideal first air rifle for anyone wanting a springer type . philpot 5,100
I do like the 57 being lighter than the 77 or 97 but these guns are just not popular compared to the 77, 97 and 95 so getting a good price is a bit of an uphill battle. My rfd had six returned from an activity centre which I sat down and tested all of them prior to them being sold. All had a few marks and a Nikko Sterling scope, they sold between £80 and £100 and took a while before they actually sold. I cannot see why they are not very popular because I found them to be really nice to use. Cost new is approx £430 sometimes with a scope included so you might be able to get between £150 and £220 in my humble opinion. Phil Quote Link to post

Phil like you say they are a nice gun and even though I'm supposed to be getting rid of some gear i think I'll keep it and use it . I see a used one in local gun shop at 350 but that's a shop . Anyway thanks Quote Link to post
philpot 5,100
I think you are right, keep it and enjoy but good luck if you do decide to sell. Phil Quote Link to post
