Theres no inbetween to them. But it is possible to believe in zero illegal immigration, strictly controlled legal immigration, free market , capitalist society, etc, AND fair wages and conditions, decent social housing, the NHS, welfare and benefits where they are needed. The left despise aspiration, Communism has never worked , nor wealth redistribution. It only lasts for a short while and the feckless waste their wealth and the entrepreneurial put theirs to work…..and then you’re back to square one; the have’s and the have nots. The working classes in the UK have always been Conservative with a small “c” but have generally voted Labour and hated the Tory’s, but that is changing now with Labour and the Tory’s being a “uniparty”. Voter’s are looking for alternatives and thinking “ let’s give these a try , they can’t be worse than the other lot.”. Just my “ ultra far right” opinions of course ! LOL ! Cheers. chartpolski 27,645
“The Protocols Of The Elders Of Zion”. Another weighty tome, often used by the anti-Semitic conspiracy theorists. But I wonder how many have actually read it, and then made up their mind if it’s genuine or a Russian fake ? Cheers.

But do you think that success should be punished in some way ?……or that the state should decide how successful a person is allowed to be ? Surely what you are advocating gets progressively more punitive the more successful a person becomes ? So tell me, what then is the incentive to be successful and why would you be inclined to be generous under such a regime ?

The more you earn, the more tax you pay , it’s as simple as that, but it shouldn’t be the more you earn , the higher percentage you pay, after a certain point. jukel123 9,293
I've got a mate who has served prison time for refusing to pay excessive tax. He's a plasterer/ tiler. He says he'll pay as much as Jeff Bezos. In your world of benevolent aristocracy and charitable churches, who agonise over the plight of the poor, do you think he's being unreasonable?
