heart of wales 19
I have had the rat smoker from Arthur Carter for about a Year now have only had the opportunity to use it three times, without a great deal of success,I think that I am using to much smoke because the rats I bolted today were well overcome by the smoke, which was a bonus because it made it easy for my young patterdale bitch to grab them, but I was wondering if there were anymore in the burrows and I gassed them ?????????? sambo123 588
Just aquired a smoker myself with a mate. i think some rats would rather choke to death than bolt to the jaws of the terriers. Especially when they have already bolted once and got down agian they seem reluctant to bolt again because they know whats coming.I also think that if you use too much 2 stroke and the smoke is really thick then this could kill some rats instantly.Remember the rats lungs are a lot smaller than ours! oyama 27
If the smokes pumped in to quick and too oily it seems to take um out quicker than bolting them. Also if the winds blowing well it blows the smoke staight thru the bury without going into the depths at times Quote Link to post
