What's it matter, it's only just different bone sizes, shapes, density, they're all mammals, cats & dogs are just the same. Lol

I would say the neandertals are just humans that were born before the flood, bigger stronger an more healthier,or there just skeletons of big humans, giants, there's alot of them mentioned in the bible,an cause there's only been a couple found

...damn and here I thought Brits obsession with tracking lineages only went back to 1100 a.d ....

Shave and a trim and Francie would never know! 😁

It's not our problem, that's partly why this country is in the mess it's in.

So you are claiming Neanderthals are just human, you do know that there's even more archaic humans that were wandering earth before the Neanderthal? But ok, so they are exactly the same as homosapiens, where are they now then? Or are you saying that we evolved quite drastically from them within the space of 6000 years?

So tell me,what do you call this discovery so I can look it up,because apparently there's only a couple of neandertal ever found, very strange that isn't it that only a couple has been found?

If we done a random test an we got a few skeletons from different people around the world, say an Eskimo,a big African,a wee Chinese man,a big Scandinavian man,etc are you telling me that there skeletons will all match perfectly with the skeleton on the right that you posted,I don't think so

No, variation would be minute, like it would be in most individuals, even those pygmies would have the same skeletal characteristics of modern humans, Neanderthals clearly have a difference skeletal structure, what have you got for eyes? Look at the massive skull, the prominent brow, massive nasal cavities, massive wide hips, thick and massive bone structure. Skin Mike Tyson and he still wouldn't look that that! 😁

OK so I just googled this, does these differences in skeletons mean that wolfs were not dogs then,or the other way about?

Your argument that says neandertals aren't humans does not stand up mate😉

Yes, wolves and dogs have different skeletons, especially in their skulls. These differences are due to domestication and the different diets of wolves and dogs.

Skull
  • Cranium: Dogs have a wider cranium, rounder cranium, and a shorter snout than wolves

  • Orbital angle: Dogs have a wider orbital angle than wolves

  • Forehead: Dogs have a more pronounced vertical drop, or "stop", in the front of their forehead

  • Eardrum: Dogs have a reduced bony case of their eardrum

  • Teeth: Dogs have smaller teeth and tooth crowding

  • Molars: Dogs have reduced molar size

They are humans, but they aren't modern humans, homosapiens!

Now here's something that is relatively new and very surprising. The genomes of non-Africans, that's me, you & most on here, contains around 2-3% Neanderthal DNA, a new study cites that in reality our ancestry is about 10-20% Neanderthal, mind-blowing eh?

It's mind blowing to think that modern humans from regions outside of Africa may be 10-20% Neanderthal.

Why would it be mind blown goly, its only logical lol

Not really considering we only have about 2-3% of their DNA.

Mate your to hung up on dna, chimps have 98% of human dna, elephants have 90% cat have 90% chickens ffs have 75%

An your saying neandertal have only 2 to 3% of human dna but they look the closest to humans than the rest above, how does that work out?

Yeah, ancestry, not genetically.

When our ancestors bred with Neanderthals, the Neanderthal DNA was rejected, have a guess why? It's because we had been isolated for half a million years when they separated from our ancestors. So, we were still genetically close enough to breed and produce offspring, but there was selection to remove the Neanderthal ancestry.

Mate, you can't see the wood for the trees, you can't grasp it, our DNA is around 99.7% identical to Neanderthals, I can't be arsed to go in to details, read up on it, I'm getting ready for work. Lol
