J Darcy 5,871
Managed to take this piccy today. Spotted four roe laid under willow trees. Had to hand-hold steady, but even then its a little blurred, but bloody hard to get close to without them knowing you are there.......Pics of seated der are not easy IMHO...well, not wild ones anyways.... Wished i had my monopod with me.......JD

cúagusgiorraí 57
Good work! it shows your skill stalking up that close to the deer.
booboo 0
I took this one back in the 90's when I use to photograph deer from a highseat, I was just climbing down from it and I saw this doe. The camera was a Pentax ME Super, with a fixed 400mil lens and a X2 convertor and a 1600 speed film Edited February 10, 2008 by booboo
J Darcy 5,871
Very very nice....good quality for 1600 speed film....
booboo 0
I think it was a 1600, if not, it was the next fast film

whin 463
theres some places localy were the sit down in broad daylight tens and more you would make a great film or pics just studying them , had a few but leave them as they are ,,with a good qaulity cam you would get some great pics , found fawns and saw bucks fighting several times good to see , them clashing each other oblivios to any body watching them ,then october come s and well the cam gets kept were it lays in the cobpoard
whin 463
plenty roe in some places it always depends on game prices localy if it went up to 1 50 a pound then they would be less plus you cant just sell them willy nilly pre 2002 when game laws changed , its harder to of load a half a dozen roe weekly unless you have very trusted butchers , all the best
