Friend of mine has a run of bad luck, suffice to say he has no longer any relations. He has the task of getting rid of a small collection of shotguns including a Purdey double barrel 16 bore Damascus. How does one value this ? Jok.

I would  be tempted to contact Sotherby's as they have the staff who can advise the value and if it is something they could be interested in and don't be put off because its Sotherby's as they have lots of people with queries such as this.

Know what guys. I’m sick as a pig. My mates brother took over. 7 shotguns . He took £140.00. Christ was I gutted. Hindsight is always good but why on earth wasn’t I asked? What’s done is done. Jok.
